Race Cars Grab Attention
The name midget car is a poor description of the present vehicles dominating Speedway, with Fuel-injected engines made in America from Fontana, Ed Pink, Esslinger or the Aussie made Hawk in lightweight frames; the current cars will out accelerate grand prix racers.
A complete car retails for approximately $65,000, the engines have between 350 and 380 horsepower to the rear wheels and have a minimum weight of 410 kg without the driver. They can reach speeds of 130km/h, with the top cars reaching 160km/h at the end of the straights, most tracks in Australia are 400m dirt oval race tracks.
The current Speedcars are so powerful that under hard acceleration they lift one front wheel – and sometimes both front wheels – completely clear of the track!
Car racing offers an effective, exciting and colourful approach to communicating with your target market.
Car racing sponsorship has a proven track record of yielding results; race fans do support companies that support racing.
The spectacular nature of the racing is undoubtedly the main reason for the large crowds who attend. Crowd numbers range from 2,000 - 5,000 depending on the location and type of race.
With approximately 20 events up and down the East Coast of Australia annually. Contesting events in Victoria, Queensland and NSW. Selected events in the Speedcar Super series* and 4 rounds of the world midget championships - televised on Fox Sports.
Branding opportunities include on the Speedcar, on the team racing trailer which will log approximately 25,000 kilometers this season, plus inclusion on the sponsors page of this website. Read More About Sponsorship
